RPG Project: Background Sets
On this page you'll see a number of different background models I built for my RPG Project, again keeping the polygon count down as low as i could, in the case of grass, it's down to just two polygons. While trees are less than 100 each.

A deep green forest, one of those types of forests where it would be very easy to get lost in. To give it that extra edge I've also set it at night, reminiscent of my RPG Demo game's opening scenes where the characters of Hero and Dawn first set out on their quest to save their village, haven't quite yet decided on the story scene for this background yet, though I know I'll need it, I have strange ways of planning things out; it's all in my head...
Another part of the deep forest is a clearing, originally the above background was going to be the clearing but got more and more complicated and evolved into the semi-pathway that it is. This one is a proper clearing complete with campfire naturally it takes more than one day to pass through the deep forest.
Sakura Forest less dense than the deep forest, Sakura Forest is a large valley with only one way in and out where the trees are perpetually in bloom, a most beautiful area the party has to cross but most dangerous as it is said that a Faerie keeps the trees in constant bloom.
My first interior background is another rather generic background, the catacombs from beneath a castle, in this case "Lephis Castle" Lephis Castle has played a large part in my RPG Project so far but there is only so much stuff you can cram into what is basically a series of tunnels.
Possibly the largest of my RPG backgrounds so far, Lephis Castle Ruins, it's taken a while to create and I'm still not happy with it, so changes are still on the horizon.
